The Color of Love

The hottest color for 2010?  Turquoise!

Once reserved mainly for tropical or beach-themed weddings, turquoise is now popping up all over the place.  It is extremely versatile and can be  mixed with lime green, stark white, silver & grey, chocolate brown, deep purple or even RED for a unique but elegant twist.

Here are a few of our favorite ideas to bring this vibrant shade into your big day.

THE TABLES – Shades of teal look beautiful when used in the design of a reception table.  You can make a huge impact without spending a large portion of your budget by using Hydrangea in the centerpieces or working a simple floral arrangement around a richly toned linen.

THE SIGNATURE COCKTAIL – If you want your “Something Blue” to be a bit out of the box, have a sky-hued bar!  HPNOTIQ is a delicious way to make an impression get everyone’s attention.  Choose a blend of HPNOTIQ and Champagne  (known as “Bubbles n’ Blue”) for your toast or the vibrant “Roq Candy Martini” – complete with a fun and quirky stick of real Rock Candy -to help coax your guests onto the dance floor.
