Trunk Shows and Your Signature Style: An Interview with Liv Hart

Liv Hart, lead designer for Enchanted Atelier Couture Accessories answered a number of questions that brides  have when it comes to trunk shows. Here is what Liv shared for our readers!

I often get questions from brides asking me “what exactly is a trunk show?”

A trunk show is the designer’s appearance at the store to present the full collection of their line.  The store may carry some pieces from their collection but at the trunk show the designer will bring a much larger selection of their line for you to choose from.

How can a trunk show cater to personal style?

A trunk show truly is the best opportunity for you, the bride, to create your signature style  for your wedding day. The trunk show is a great opportunity to have the styling experience of the designer available to you and get tips on how you can improve your wedding day look from the best in the industry.

Designers consider  multiple ways for a piece to be worn when designing a collection.  The designer can show you the versatility of how to wear a piece when you walk down the aisle, during your reception or even, after your wedding.

Example: Enchanted Atelier Couture Accessories “Sophie Band” can be worn in a number of ways.

Left to Right: Sophie band as necklace on Claire Pettibone Beverly Hills Flagship Salon Manager Cynthia Pinot, Sophie Ribbon Band, Sophie as Sash)

What sorts of deals are offered at a trunk show?

Most trunk shows offer a discount that would not otherwise be available during a non-trunk show appointment.  This is such a great opportunity to save on the design of your dreams.

Check out the trunk show schedules on the websites of the salons you will visit.  It is such a valuable opportunity for you to complete your perfect bridal experience!
