Engagement Photo Session

Tis’ the season to be engaged! With Valentine’s Day creeping up on us I am sure a lot of couples will begin the process of planning their wedding. Beyond, the dress, décor and food that are highlights of any wedding, I really enjoy looking at couples’ engagement photos. Engagement photos are  a great way to put on display what you represent as a couple, your style, personality and energy. They can be used as a part of your décor at your wedding, save the dates, favors and most importantly a keepsake for years to come. I asked Amanda, from Amanda Picone Photography, for some tips on how to get the most out of your engagement photo session.

Some of her suggestions include:

  • Choose a location that reflects your personality as a couple. It should be a place that you are both familiar with to encourage a stress –free fun environment. When you are relaxed and happy that will translate through your photos.LeesaEric4
  • Your outfit should also be something that makes a statement about your style and how you want to be represented. It’s better to be comfortable, than to wear what you think just looks good. At the end of the day you want to feel like the best you.LeesaEric1
  • Get your hair and make-up professionally done to give you that edge that will complete your look and give you that extra boost of confidence to rock out your photo shoot!HaliAdam3
  • Also, think about the time of day you want your shoot to be. Sunset and into the night gives that more romantic feel. While shoots that occur during the day maybe a little more fun and light-hearted.MikeMichelle1
