Last Thursday I attended the New York Public Library’s 100th Birthday party to not only celebrate the century milestone of one of New York’s most recognizable venues, but also to celebrate the new look of the space! When I walked in, I was in complete awe! Between the changing ceiling photos, to the lively music of Elan Artists, all of the who’s who in the event planning industry were in attendance.
As I walked around and sampled creations from top New York caterer’s like Abigail Kirsch Catering, Callahan Catering and Great Performances, I was totally impressed with the unique presentation and the professional staff. From all of the tasty bites I tried that night, I think that the mini cotton candy topped it all!
The New York Public Library would be a fabulous place for a wedding. Like Carrie Bradshaw said, it’s where all the famous love stories are housed. Well, I guess her fictional wedding didn’t actually happen, but still, the thought of getting married in such a grandiose New York landmark, should be at the top of every NYC bride’s list of must see venues!
