NewlyWish Launches Registry Re-Patterned

On November 2, 2011, NewlyWish launched their event Registry Re-Patterned in New York City, which brought together a group of renowned wedding industry tastemakers with luxury home and lifestyle products company Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton to offer couples pre-mixed tablesettings designed to make their tabletop registries more personal and stylish.

NewlyWish, an online gift registry service dedicated to personalizing each and every registry, organized the event in an approach to reinvent the way couples think about tabletop registry. With the profile of engaged couples continuing to change, much more wedding planning happening on-line, and the entire wedding industry increasingly focused on offering bespoke options to create truly unique events, NewlyWish wanted to meet their goal of helping couples create registries that are as special and unique as every other part of their weddings.

Each of the NewlyWish Tastemakers created a signature collection that featured a five-piece place setting, flatware, crystal, and coordinating accessories. Tastemakers included renowned Eventiste Marcy Blum, Bridal Atelier owner Mark Ingram, Abby Larson, founder of leading wedding blog Style Me Pretty, Ceci Johnson, founder of stationery and corporate ID house Ceci New York and Mayra Castillo and Xochitl Gonzalez of event design firm Always a Bridesmaid.
