I want to introduce everyone to one of my favorite workouts this Wellness Wednesday– Interval workouts. The monotonous movements on a stationary bike, elliptical, stair master, and treadmill are not exactly what I would call thrilling. These types of workouts have been getting a lot of buzz lately for their fat burning benefits and quick weight loss. Interval workouts are start-and-stop motions of sprinting, or close to sprinting speed, followed by periods of rest or light movement. They eliminate the long 45 minutes you spend on a machine because you can get all of the benefits in 20 minutes and I know even while planning a wedding you can spare 20 minutes. I want to show you a few of my favorite interval workouts to take with you the next time you go to the gym.

Remember, it doesn’t need to be more than 20 minutes for you to feel a burn and you should be working to at least 80-100% during the hard parts.
