If you or your fiance love fishing, the Outer Banks has been named a fisherman’s paradise where you can catch tuna, sailfish or marlin through charter fishing, brackish fishing or fly fishing. If water sports are your thing they try their jet skiing experience, ocean and sound kayaking or dolphin cruises. The can’t miss activity is their huge active dune system at Jockey’s Ridge State Park.

Machu Picchu, Peru
Find the Lost Cities of the Incas in the thick Amazonian Jungle. The Inca Trail is 25 miles from Cuzco through Andean ravines that will take you out of your comfort zone and expose you to a climb that overlooks the ancient ruins and Urubamba Valley. The routes can take anywhere between two to four days but it is strenuous and not for a first-time hiker. If you want to visit the area without the hike you can take a shuttle bus to the ruins.
Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands and a popular European holiday destination. This location is a favorite among scuba divers and is world famous for windsurfing. See the black volcanic sands of Playa Americanas beach, go mountain or road biking through Tenerife or go hiking through Loro Park. Whether you want to honeymoon by land or by sea, Tenerife won’t give you a boring vacation.
