Summer, sun and snacks. That’s today’s Wellness Wednesday topic. We all love to snack, and if you say you don’t then I don’t believe you. Working towards whatever fitness goal you have for yourself, whether it be for a perfect honeymoon beach bod or to look picture perfect in your wedding dress, you understand how important it is to keep your body fueled. The thing that makes snacking in the summer different from any other type of year is that BBQ, ice cream, frozen cocktails and fried foods become more popular on our menus then they were before. You need some options to help assist you in the fight towards your best body.

Kale chips are my new favorite salty snack and one serving is only 132 calories. You can make them at home or buy that at virtually any grocery store. Keeping sodium levels low will help you look better in a swim suit and is better for your body. Satisfy cravings with these snacks.

Dipping vegetables into dressing is not a smart idea. Dipping them in something healthy like what we’re about to list will keep you satisfied and will fight cravings for similar foods later.

Drinking processed juices is something I hope we all know isn’t good for you. Sticking with water, coffee and tea is fine but sometimes you can add fresh fruits and vegetables into your juice. Buying a juicer works but you can also DIY it or purchase something healthier.
