Selecting Your Wedding Date

The timeline for planning a wedding is different for everyone, but give yourself time for proper preparation. There’s no need to ruin an exciting experience by overwhelming yourself with a tight deadline.
The date needs to work not only for you , but also for immediate family and close friends. When selecting a date, decide on the time of year you want to get married since this will set the stage for the design, food, flowers, color scheme even décor. The top months to get married are June, July, August and September but weddings are year-round affairs.

Once you’ve narrowed down a time frame, you can choose which day of the week. While Saturdays are the most favored day of the week to get married, weekdays have grown tremendously in popularity. While the rest of us were at work, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel tied the knot on a Thursday back in 2012.

Yes, planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but it can also be one of the most exciting experiences of your life if you stay organized, relaxed and most importantly – remember to have fun!
