A Pure Barre “Bride to Be” Journey
I was so excited to get engaged last year, and I knew that Pure Barre would be the perfect way to get my mind and body wedding-ready. I’d been taking Pure Barre classes about 3 times a week for a year, and I always loved going to class. But I knew I needed to take things to the next level. I had gotten so happy and comfortable in my relationship, that I’d packed on about 15 lbs of ‘happy weight,’ as I like to call it!
Just days after our engagement, my fiance and I took a 2-week trip to Europe, which we lovingly referred to as our ‘Engagementmoon.’ We ate and drank whatever we wanted, and had an amazing time. But when I returned home from the Engagementmoon, I was shocked to see that I’d climbed to my highest-ever weight of 148. Now I know that is not huge by any means (I’m 5’6″), but I wanted to look and feel my best for my wedding. I cleaned up my diet and signed up for the Pure Barre ‘Bride to Be’ package. I started going to class 5 days a week, and what a difference! The pounds dropped, and I started to feel strong, sexy, and most importantly, full of confidence. I got down to 128, and was able to see definition in my arms, abs and legs that I never could before. Our wedding day was incredible, and Pure Barre helped me feel amazing! Now that my wedding is over, I still go to class 5 days a week. I love how strong and focused I feel, and I never want to give that up.
