Hundreds of engaged couples gathered in Beverly Hills and New York City in January to plan their upcoming destination weddings and honeymoons at Wedding Salon. Guests were stunned by the fashion forward, modern and unique wedding displays, along with some significant ways to plan domestic, traditional and exotic destinations for their nuptials.
DESTINATION WEDDING & HONEYMOON PLANNING TOP FIVES:
1. Culturally-inspired accessories and clothing:
Bridal gowns and accessories alike with cultural inspiration were represented at both showcases. Mirage by Samar pinpointed South Asian culture, drawing people in with gowns that captured stunning creative impulse. Accessories brand Ellen Hunter NYC wowed the couples with visually-intriguing accessories and head-pieces.
2. Pre-travel beauty enhancements:
Couples were excited to see options to enhance their outer beauty. Yes for the men too! Spray tanning, by Vita Liberata, made the pairs feel comfortable adding a little color to their natural glow. For the ladies in New York, Lancôme at Bergdorf Goodman celebrated nudes and natural makeup trends at their trial station and O2living featured amazing juice cleanses to keep healthy.
3. Traditional and Domestic Locations:
Travel resources were abundant in both showcases with extravagant tourism boards such as Mexico Tourism Board, Aspen CVB, Cape Cod CVB & many more. Couples were provided with displays so vibrant and lively they could picture their stress-free planning and relaxation ahead. Luxury resorts like Fiesta Americana, Shoals Club on Bald Head Island, and Ritz-Carlton Florida beautifully highlighted their abundance of options.
4. Exotic Destinations:
In addition to the locations couples love and adore, to their own surprise, they found themselves also drawn to places that are attractively out of the ordinary. Exotic destinations represented by Zulu Nyala South Africa, Three Tomatoes Italy and Aruba Tourism Authority, could be exactly what couples are looking for and all that needs to be done is a little exploration!
5. Shred for the Wed:
With many destination weddings including swimwear and fewer clothes, couples are eager to discover ways they can “shred for the wed”. Pure Barre and Bar Method put future brides and grooms in awe, with the most exciting ways to get their bodies into shape.
