COUPLES GOT LEI’D AT WEDDING SALON’S DESTINATION WEDDINGS AND HONEYMOONS SHOWCASE

New York, New York (January, 2017) – Engaged couples stepped through a canopy of pendulous florals into Wedding Salon’s Destination Weddings and Honeymoon Showcase, held on Tuesday January 24, 2017. The Metropolitan Pavilion was masked with lace, florals, gorgeous gowns and a touch of gold, as the couples got “lei’d” by O’ahu Visitors Bureau.

Wedding Salon provides a one-stop-shop for couples to plan their perfect weddings and honeymoons. The current trends of the wedding industry were prominent throughout the showcase, with helpful tips and trends to take away.  Lace was sprinkled throughout the showcase on gowns presented by H. Habitu, Macy’s Salon by Demetrios and Jenny Yoo; many of which incorporated plunging necklines or other statement non-traditional aspects. Fashion was also on display for the grooms from Alexander Nash.

There was an earthy tone set by the displays and registry tables. Couples were awed by the canopy designed by Au Ciel, and throughout the show experienced jaw-dropping displays with a nature edge. A gorgeous presentation by Puerto Rico Wedding Planners included a centerpiece of floating tear drop flower vases, creating an astonishing centerpiece.

As a destination weddings and honeymoons focused showcase, a wide variety of travel options were available for couples planning anything from an exotic honeymoon to a fairytale Disney wedding. The countless venues and getaways included Paradisus, Sandals, Los Cabos, Aruba, Mexico Tourism, Hyatt Regency and so much more.

The sold-out VIP luxury swag bags, sponsored by Bloomingdale’s, were in high demand. After getting pampered by Bliss Spa, Olive Organic Tan Spa, Lancome at Bergdorf Goodman and Bobbi Brown at Bloomingdale’s, the couples went to scoop their swag before leaving for the evening. The coveted swag bags were filled with essential wedding and beauty products by BioRepublic Skincare, EDEN BodyWorks, Miss Jessie’s, Nailtiques, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, The Knot, Flutter Magazine, Manhattan Bride, Destination I Do and more.

Upcoming Wedding Salon Events include the Los Angeles Destination Weddings and Honeymoon Showcase on March 13th at the Montage Beverly Hills and the New York Spring Showcase back at the Metropolitan Pavilion on May 1st.
