Business Description
We entered the gelato business as a way to create something special together as a family, and after eight years of operating as a franchise, have used that experience to create an independent, Chicago based company. Sweet Home Gelato is family owned and operated along with a dedicated, tenured group of managers and staff who we consider "part of the family".
As part of our strategic move to become independent, we worked with a renowned master gelatier and the highest quality ingredient suppliers to perfect and refine our proprietary recipes and unique flavor selection. Uniquely, we make our gelato in small batches locally so it is extremely fresh and all natural.
We also have made exciting improvements to our customer experience, including a comprehensive interior renovation to make our locations warmer and more inviting, and great new additions to our menu. Finally, new technology enabling swifter ordering and a rewards program is being introduced.
